1. How we collect your personal data, what we collect and why.

When you use our Sites and Services, we collect information from you in various ways both directly and indirectly.

Information you provide directly to us

There are multiple ways in which you provide personal information to the Thames Media Group. When you create a user account you provide contact and registration information. This user account allows you to use our services and register for camps, classes and/or activities.
When purchasing services on our Sites you authorize Thames Media Group (or our designated payment processor) to use your personal information to charge the account you specified for the purchase amount. To protect your transactions and purchase we adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands to ensure the secure handling of credit card information.

We may obtain your personal information when businesses, individuals and organizations request information from Thames Media Group, for example, individuals may contact our customer service team for assistance.
You may interact with us on one of our social media platforms or participate in our competitions or sweepstakes, this could include sharing photos, posts and other personal information with Thames Media Group.

Information collected autonomously

If you have registered for an event with a third party organization (one of our clients) that uses our Event Management Services they may provide us with your registration information so we can contact you or provide a service to you on their behalf

2. How we protect your privacy and store personal information

The personal information we collect is stored and processed in the United States. We will store your information until it is no longer needed for the purposes it was collected. When your personal information is no longer needed it will be destroyed in a secure manner.

We maintain procedural, technical and physical security measures to safeguard personal information and reduce the risk of misuse, unauthorized disclosures, alteration, and accidental destruction.   • Internally with other Thames Media Group entities to provide you with a service or to improve and manage our business operations. This includes enhancing the services and products we offer and tailoring the marketing communications and offers you receive.

  • Third-Party providers, for example, those who provide camps and events for you to register for on our Sites. To carry out your registration and request for service we will provide the third party service partners with your personal information. As a result, you will likely receive communications from the third party that holds your registration. The collection of your personal information for a third-party service will not be subject to this policy. The third-party provider operates independently of Thames Media Group, so please refer to their privacy policy if you have any questions.

    We also use third-party organizations to help manage our business operations, for example, the management of our office network is provided by a specialist IT company. We maintain a confidentiality agreement with these third parties, where they have agreed that all personal information shared with them or collected on our behalf should be exclusively used to carry out our contracted service.

  • Government organizations, law enforcement agencies, and regulators may request the disclosure of your personal information, and in doing so we may share it with these entities in order to comply with relevant laws.

  • Payment Processors to authorize transactions and complete purchases.

When you register as a User (also referred to as "Customer", "Consumer") on our Sites we may use the personal information you provided to let you know about our Services that we think may interest you. You may unsubscribe from our email newsletters or promotional emails by following the opt-out instructions on an email you receive from us. You cannot unsubscribe from emails pertaining to transaction confirmations or service related notifications (eg changes to the camp or program you have registered), or those related to updates in Thames Media Group policy or business operations.

Thames Media Group may provide links to third-party sites, particularly our Clients who use our Site to list their camps and classes. When you click a link the third party site may collect personal information for you. We do not endorse, control, nor are responsible for practices or policies implemented by third-party websites.

6. The personal information of minors

Thames Media Group does not collect or share any personal information of children under the age of 16 (collectively "Minor's") without a consenting parent or guardian, nor do we disclose personal information of a Minor to a third party, unless it is to provide the Service you have requested (for example when you register your child for a camp provided by a third party, their registration details will be shared with the camp provider).

7. How cookies may collect information about you

When you visit our Sites we automatically collect usage information from your computer via cookies. Cookies are small text files, specific to you which are downloaded or stored on your computer or device when you visit a website. Cookies allow us to uniquely identify you and enhance your navigation through our Site, by remembering things like your location, language, and other settings.

Cookies also allow us to gain analytical and statistical information to understand how you use our Services, for example, what pages you have visited or advertisements you open.
